வரலாறு:
பெல்லாரி தூய ஆரோக்கிய மாதா திருத்தலமானது, பெல்லாரி மறைமாவட்டத்தின் மகத்தான ஜூபிலி மற்றும் பொன்விழாவின் நினைவாக கட்டப்பட்டு, 08.08.2000 அன்று அர்ச்சிக்கப்பட்டது. பெல்லாரி நகரத்தின் கட்டிடக்கலைக்கு சான்றாக இத்திருத்தலம் விளங்குகிறது.
திருத்தலத்தை சுற்றி 14 சிலுவைப்பாதை நிலையங்களும், அதைச் சுற்றி 15 புனித ஜெபமாலையின் இரகசியங்களும் உள்ளன.
திருத்தலத்தின் அடித்தளத்தில் ஒரு பைபிள் அருங்காட்சியகம் உள்ளது. இது இரட்சிப்பின் வரலாற்றை சித்தரிக்கிறது. மேலும் 24 மணி நேர ஆராதனை தேவாலயம் உள்ளது. இது மக்களின் ஜெபத்தேவைகளுக்காகு வாய்ப்பளிக்கிறது.
பல்லாரி ஆரோக்கிய மாதே ஆலயமானது 13 நவம்பர் 2016 அன்று பல்லாரி மறைமாவட்ட ஆயர் மேதகு ஹென்றி டிசோசா அவர்களால், மறைமாவட்ட திருத்தலமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
பல்லாரி ஆரோக்கிய மாதே திருத்தலமானது திருப்பயணிகள் அதிகமாக வந்து செல்லும் புனிதம் மிக்க தலமாகும். அன்னை மரியாளின் பரிந்துரையின் மூலம் இறைவனின் அருளைப் பெறுவதற்காக, ஜாதி, மத வேறுபாடின்றி மக்கள் இத்திருத்தலத்திற்கு வருகின்றனர்.
மறைமாவட்டத்தின் வைர விழாவையொட்டி, ஆலயத்தைச் சுற்றி அழகிய ஜெபமாலை கெபிகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு, கர்தினால் டெலிஸ்போர் டோப்போ அவர்கள் மந்திரித்து திறந்து வைத்தார்.
அருட்பணி. பி. அந்தோணி ராஜ் அவர்கள் திருத்தலத்தின் முதல் அதிபராக இருந்து, திருத்தலத்தின் வளர்ச்சியில் பெரும் பங்காற்றினார்.
திருமணமாகி பல ஆண்டுகளாக குழந்தையின்றி தவிக்கும் தம்பதியினர் இங்கு வந்து ஜெபித்து, குழந்தை வரம் பெறுகின்றனர். வேலையின்றி தவிப்போர் நல்ல வேலைவாய்ப்பை பெறுகின்றோர். மனநலம் குன்றியோர் நோய்நீங்கி நலம் பெற்றுச் செல்கின்றனர். இவ்வாறு எண்ணற்ற புதுமைகள் பெல்லாரி ஆரோக்கிய மாதாவின் அருளால் நிறைவேறி வருவதால் கர்நாடகா மட்டுமின்றி அண்டை மாநிலங்களான தமிழ்நாடு, ஆந்திரா, கேரளா, தெலுங்கானா, கோவா இவற்றிலிருந்து ஏராளமான இறைமக்கள் வருகை தருகின்றனர்…
திருவிழாவின் போது பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான மக்கள் பங்கு பெற்று, பெல்லாரி ஆரோக்கிய மாதாவிற்கு நன்றி கூறுகின்றனர்.

History:
The Shrine of Ballari Arogya Mathe was blessed and dedicated on 8 September 2000 on the feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother Mary in memory of the great jubilee 2000 and the Golden Jubilee of the Diocese of Bellary. It is an architectural landmark in the city of Ballari. The popular shrine has 14 Stations of the Crossand 15 Mysteries of the Holy Rosaryerected around it. The shrine basement has a Bible Museum, which is depicting the salvation history. There is a 24-hour Adoration Chapel, which gives an opportunity for people to spend quite time in front of the Blessed Sacrament.Ballari Arogya Mathe Shrine was officially declared Diocesan Shrine on 13 Nov. 2016 by Bishop Henry D'Souza to mark the concluding ceremony of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy.
Ballari Arogya Mathe Shrine is a place of pilgrimage, prayer and spiritual enrichment.People, irrespective of caste and creed, come to the shrine to obtain the grace of the Lord through the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary. On the occasion of the Diamond Jubliee of the Diocese, beautiful Rosary Grottos were erected around the Shrine. They were blessed by Cardinal Telesphore Toppo and inaugurated by the bishops who graced the occasion. Fr. Anthony Raj P. served as the first Rector for a decade, contributing much to the establishment of the shrine. During his term, a building with few rooms and a spacious hall, were built to accommodate the pilgrims. Presently, a retreat center - Adhyatma is being built at the shrine.
